Long story as short as possible - Basically, I called in and ordered the 34.99 package and I receive a bill for 63.00.. I call and ask why ?
First lady tells me I was supposed to submit a rebate to get that particular rate.
She submitted it but refused to give me credit for the first month. I called back to speak hopefully to an American.
Guess what he told me? :"Its not our fault if you didnt submit the rebate." I cant believe this guy told me that.
I complained but to another Indian or Filipino lady. she offers me a lousy 10.00 credit, so weeks down the line i call in about a few channels i m not getting..
Then i asked if the rebate was in effect. She said yes. but i am still being charged 5.00 more then i am supossed to. why?
Turns out there was another separate rebate i was supossed to submit with the other rebate to receive the 34.99 rate, and they wont even give that to me.
They said its to late. now i m stuck with this Direct TV for 12 or 18 months, oh yea on top of that, the tech told me i had 30 days to cancel, turns out it was only 7 and i was too late.
Customer service is horrible. There are no words that can explain it. They are so rude that don't care about their customer.
I am in the point where I am going to pay the cancellation fees which is a pro-rate fees of $400.00 I don't know is there anyone else to go through this like I did.
Don't Get Direct TV!
